Pick a route and a programme

Choose where you are flying from and to, the cabin you want, and whose seats you want to see. Then press Show calendar.

How it works

  1. Set the route and the cabinOne origin and one destination, and the cabin you would actually book. Each cabin is priced and released separately, so they rarely look alike.
  2. Choose whose seats to look atAvailability belongs to a programme, not to the flight. The same seat can be open to one programme and closed to another, so the calendar is drawn for the one you pick.
  3. Read the shading, then the dayDarker means more seats were open. Click any date to see what it cost, how many seats there were, and when that reading was taken.

These are readings from the last time we swept the route, not a live seat map, and every date shows how old its reading is. Only dates that had seats are listed, so a blank day means nothing was found rather than nothing exists. Confirm on the search page before you count on a seat.

Which dates
had seats

Every date carries the timestamp of the sweep it came from, and the page shows the oldest and newest reading in the window. Nothing here is older than sixty days, but nothing here is live either. Treat it as where to look rather than what is bookable right now, and confirm on the search page before you plan around a seat.

The calendar lists only the dates that had space when the route was last checked. A blank day is not a gap in the data, it is a day with nothing found. On a thin route most of the month will be blank, and that is the answer rather than a fault.

They count seats. The darkest band is five or more, enough for a family. The middle is two to four, enough for a pair. The lightest is a single seat, which is the one that changes a decision if you are not travelling alone. A fourth shade covers dates that were priced but came back without a seat count.

Because award space is released per programme, not per flight. An airline can open seats to its own members and hold them back from partners, or the reverse. The calendar is drawn for the programme you picked, so switching it can change the month completely.

A free account covers two calendar months, starting with the one you are in. Pro covers twelve. The calendar draws whole months, so a two month window opened in September shows September and October in full, not thirty days from today.
